“I remember the spark that brought us together. Now I want to discover a new path in our relationship - where we listen with conscious attention, take risks to spontaneously say what is on our minds, and just laugh together at our mistakes.”
Workshop Focus:
Experience nature together
Retreat from life routines into a relaxed setting out of the city
Explore your “wishes” for a new relationship
Connect with your own courage, humility, and playfulness
Price: $400/couple
Schedule:
Saturday, June 10th: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (lunch included)
Facilitators:
Lynn Tienken MS, LMHC As a family therapist and licensed mental health counselor for 42 years, I help couples speak intentionally into their strengths and vulnerabilities. With a background in Imago Relationship Therapy and The Couples Developmental Model, I assist couples in learning to speak with each other about their blocked internal dialogue. My effective communication strategies have evolved from work with families in school, their homes, parent groups and divorce mediation. My own hiking in the mountains, playing with my grandchildren and painting give a rich context to my family therapy practice. Email me: lmtienk@gmail.com
Scott Edwards, PhD, LMFT As a family therapist for 25 years and a previous clinical faculty of marriage and family therapy, I come alongside couples in recognizing patterns which constrain connection. With a background in group, Experiential and Narrative therapies, I support couples in developing new patterns and communication styles for positive change rich in meaning. My commitment to my own family and children coupled with passion for the outdoors provides rich resources for facilitating growth. Email me: DrScottEdwards@outlook.com.
